  • First thing that everyone needs to take care of is to get a Sunscreen SPF 15 or higher to a minimum of SPF 30 on exposed skin in order to stay safe from the harmful UV rays (ultraviolet radiation) also use sunglasses whenever going out, not only as a style but The area around the eye has the most thin layer of skin which makes it the most sensitive part, sunglasses can help prevent UV rays hit that area if not protected it can cause wrinkles in early age and we don’t want that!
  • Use a good face wash for oily skin but don’t wash your face more than 2 times a day, washing your face 4 to 5 times can make your skin get rid of the moisture it needs and it will start  producing more moisture every time this way you will end getting a lot of unneeded moisture wash with cold water, cold water will help you shrink your pores which will cause less oil build up
  • Love your vegetables and fruits! You know what they say “you are what you eat” stop eating all that deep fried oily fast food and eat fresh vegetables, salads, fruits and fresh juices. Eat healthy live healthy
  • Exfoliate! Oily skin can cause black heads on your nose, cheeks and chin it is best to exfoliate your skin use a scrub that best suits you 2 times a week and get rid of all the annoying sebum. You can also put a slice of tomato in your refrigerator for 30 minutes until its cold almost frozen and rub it on your nose while it stays cold then wash your face with cold water.
  • It is okay to have a facial once in a month if you are two scared of spending cash you can always do a self-facial in your own bathroom just think DIY, make your own homemade mask like this one.

Ingredients. Ripe banana, 1 Tbsp. honey, 10 drops of lemon juice. Directions.
Smash banana with honey in a small bowl add lemon juice and combine well apply mask to entire face and leave it on for 15 minutes rinse with a warm washcloth.

  • Every product that you use should be oil free. Oil free products are now easily available everywhere, oil free make up is a must have! Although one should reduce make up as much as they can for it just makes your skin suffer more also cleanse your face thoroughly when removing make up it gets deep into your pores and cause acne therefor 2 to 3 minutes of cleansing is very important. If you face make up melt down rub an ice cube on your face to shrink your pores less oil will be produced and make up will last longer.

If you are going through a severe skin condition it is best to consult a dermatologist as soon as possible. Happy skin y’all!
