These Bollywood actresses lost their weight just by having THESE breakfast routines!

We have often heard our elders say that breakfast should be eaten like a king and dinner like a pauper. When it comes to our Bollywood celebs, we’ve often looked up to them for inspiration, and as several actresses have spilled their breakfast secrets, we can say that indeed, breakfast cannot be taken lightly. 

Shilpa Shetty 

In an Interview,she said, “I cleanse my system with warm water. Before warm water, I have four drops of noni juice. It gives me a lot of strength.” After a while, the actress shared that she rolls cold-pressed coconut oil around her mouth and between her teeth for 7-10 mins. The actress opened up about her meal plan that contains two breakfast meals if she gets up very early in the morning. It’s usually a high-fibre breakfast that contains oats muesli or fruits. “I start off with a raw fruit so it’s either a banana or grated apple, blueberries, in my muesli. I try to keep it low sugar. I prefer using natural forms of sugar like honey or powered jaggary,” she shared. However, her early morning breakfast is a smoothie which contains almond milk, banana, raw oats and honey. “I also have two eggs around 10-10:30am with raw avocado and a whole wheat toast with butter.” 

Kareena Kapoor Khan 

Kareena’s nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar has many times spoken about not having coffee or tea as the first thing in the morning, a habit that generally people do. In a Cosmopolitan interview, Kareena talked about how the first thing in the morning she eats is a banana. Believing in portion control, the actress is a sworn vegetarian who loves home-cooked meals. She shared how she has a paratha with ghee or poha as breakfast. 

Alia Bhatt 

The actress believes in eating whenever she is hungry during the day instead of eating every two hours and usually sticks to having just three meals a day. Her breakfast contains nutrient-dense foods like oatmeal, acai berries, papaya, and fresh salads, as per an NDTV report. The same includes even in her lunch and dinner. She usually starts her day with a cup of piping hot herbal tea or coffee without any sugar, a bowl of poha or an egg sandwich. 

Malaika Arora 

Malaika starts her day by detoxifying with warm honey and lemon water, followed by drinking a litre of water 3o minutes later. For breakfast, she has a bowl of fresh mixed fruits, with idli or upma or poha or multigrain toast with egg whites, as per quoted in Shvetha Jaishankar’s book titled Gorgeous: Eat Well, Look Great. The actress’ mid-day meal includes a glass of fresh vegetable juice, 2 brown bread toasts and egg whites.
