The house of kamair Rokni At Loreal Present PFDC Bridal Week 2019 Day 2

Day-2 of PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2019 evening grouped bridal showcase was opened by The House of Kamiar Rokni with the bridal collection, “Golestān”.

“Golestān”, the Garden of Roses, represents a poetry of ideas. Drawing from Kamiar Rokni’s Persian heritage, “Golestān” explored the influence of Iran in Sub Continental design, playing with the diversity within femininity, from the modern to the classic, from softer to bolder expressions. Indeed, Rokni envisions modern couture as layered and multi-faceted, embracing different aspects of our nature. “Golestān” also takes its title and creative interpretation from Persian poet Sa’adi’s magnum opus, presenting a collection as a confluence of many ideas but ultimately proposing a celebration of one’s individuality; one where no two flowers are alike in the House of Kamiar Rokni’s Garden of Roses.

The ties that bind fashion, art, culture and imagination make up the very fabric of The House of Kamiar Rokni’s DNA. “Golestān” was based in rich velvets, organzas, jacquards, chiffons, handwoven silk trims with detailed silk and tissue nets, introducing multiple rich textiles within one outfit. The collection explored many silhouettes across a colour palette that channels rich, high contrast bursts to the softer, dreamier and more ethereal hues
