“Nothing excites me more than these recitations, they satisfy my soul,” stated Atif Aslam regarding his exemplary recitation of Asma ul Husna!

Atif Aslam treated us well and contented our spiritual side by releasing this amazing video collaborating with Coke Studio. Singer has grabbed our attention once again owing to his exquisite style of portrayal and high notes in particular. Asma ul Husna (99 names of Allah) has always been close to our hearts and it gives us strength that can’t be defined in words. It’s not the first time Atif Aslam made us adrenaline charged by divine recitations and heavenly renditions. It has released at the right time and people are gushing over Atif Aslam’s peculiar style and amazing voice quality. The last Ashrah of Ramadan has started off and Muslims are making efforts to cherish it’s blessings entirely.

Atif Aslam fascinated us by this beautiful recitation of Asma ul Husna. Latley, he recited Azaan and amazed us all. Last year, he dazzled us all by opening episode of coke studio with the hamd ‘Wohi Khuda Hai’ and his biggest Coke Studio hit to date remains the qawwali ‘Tajdar-e-Haram’.

This is what Atif Aslam stated about spiritual Kalams and recitations;

“I love them more than anything else. Some are beautifully written, like ‘Tajdar-e-Haram’, and some are self-explanatory such as the Asma-Ul-Husna. They satisfy my soul. On the other hand, the compositions that I write myself satisfy me on a ground level, as a musician.”

“I chose to recite the Azaan at a time when the coronavirus pandemic was particularly creating panic. In the Holy Prophet’s time, people would get on to the rooftops of their homes and recite the Azaan in times of crisis. Similarly, I read out the Azaan at a time when the world was in crisis.”

“And now, with the Asma-Ul-Husna, what could be better than reciting the names of Allah? Whatever I am, whatever I have, it all exists because He wills it to be so. This recitation came straight from the heart.”

Ever since this videos has released, #atifaslam & #99names have been trending on twitter!
