Sami Yousuf collaborated with Queen of Sufi for a Qawali!

Collaborated for the very first time, the famed singer Sami Yousuf got attention in 2003 for his first hit Naat Al Muallim that had set the standard of narration with best composition of music and video, recently san a duo with queen of sufi Abida Parveen “ya Hayu Ya Qayum” and we are drooling over the amalgam of spiritual voices on one platform.

Titled Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum,the qawwali is a mix of Arabic and Urdu.he further elaborated about the Qawali and how is it different from rest of the spiritual music and songs, “It is a celebration of the beautiful art of Qawali. The recordings took place in Pakistan, India, Morocco, Turkey, UK and UAE making this — to my knowledge — the most multinational production for any traditional/world music genre piece. It was my honour to work with Abida Parveen whose voice can only be described as ‘otherworldly’. She is not only the pride of Pakistan (or lovers of Qawwali music) but a gift and blessing to the entire musical world,” worldwide known for his unique style of praising Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) he has manifested round of allause and appreciation by Muslims and Non-Muslims too. Bringing forth a new genre of Naat and singing it in a beautiful way possible, the crown goes to this talented young singer of Britain.
