Salman Khan has a sung a special song for Nitin Kakkar’s upcoming directorial Notebook which features debut actors Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl. The movie is produced by Salman Khan’s production house Salman Khan Films. The official handle of SKFilms tweeted the promo of the song. “This song just got more romantic! Stay tuned, the 4th song of #Notebook, #MainTaare coming in just 2 days”, the tweet read.
Apparently, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam was supposed to sing the song but after his ouster, he was replaced with Salman Khan. For the unversed, in the wake of India-Pakistan tensions and also All India Cine Workers Association had announced a blanket ban on Pakistani artists, Salman sang the song.
Salman Khan’s name as a singer for this soft romantic track came up during a brainstorming session. “Many singers were considered, but the makers were not fully convinced whether they would be able to do justice to,”
The report also revealed that it took the team to do some convincing but later he agreed to sing. Salman earlier sang songs such as Main Hoon Hero Tera (Hero), Jag Ghoomeya (Sultan) and Hangover among others.
Talking about the movie, it marks the debut of Mohnish Bahl’s daughter Pranutan and Zaheer Iqbaal and it is all set tor release on March 29
