“By participating in the 7th PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014, we can advance artistic and professional standards within the fashion industry; establish and maintain a code of ethics and practices of mutual benefit in professional, public, and trade relations; promote and improve public understanding and appreciation of the fashion arts through leadership in quality.”
This April at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014, Nimsay Redefining Style by Nimra Textile will showcase their Spring/Summer 2014 collection titled ‘Flora’. The collection takes inspiration from different themes including Folk Artisan, Flora & Fauna and Graphic Monochrome where the brand has worked on fine lawn with silk patches and chiffon dupatta with cuts which include short shirts with narrow bottom trousers. The collection features a diverse colour palette including black, white, bright and intensive orange and red in combination with light pastel tones along with a dark racing green and light reseda in combination with white, silver, marine, blue and black, which have assisted the brand in creating a contemporary contrast. Key trends being highlighted are flora, fauna, tribal, Latin folk and Ethno.
Nimsay was launched by the parent company Nimra Textile in 2005 as a fashion brand that is committed to innovation, design and constant market research to better understand the constantly evolving needs and desires of their loyal consumers. With 13 outlets across Pakistan, the brand strives to inspire self-confidence in women and believes that fashion is culture, a form of expression and can be used to help women excel in life, which is the foundation for their motto “Redefining Style”. Prior to PSFW 2014, the brand recently launched their spring summer 2014 edition of Parsa Lawn, Embroidered Classics and Verve (Pret Collection).
