Mehreen Jabbar shares her experience working with Bilal Abbas Khan and Madiha Imam

Zindagi’s second original, Ek Jhoothi Love Story released globally on 30th October on ZEE5. Centred on the mind set of chasing the ideal life partner, this romantic comedy has received praise for its impeccable performances and relatable storyline. While many young actors aspire to work with Mehreen Jabbar, Bilal Abbas Khan and Madiha Imam got the opportunity to be directed by her in Ek Jhoothi Love Story. In a conversation, Mehreen shared her experience of working with them.

Mehreen revealed that both Bilal and Madiha gave their full potential to the project, with utmost professionalism and commitment. She expressed how the actors are ‘not high maintenance’ and really easy to work with. “I really value professionalism and dedication to a project. It is important to do every project with the same conviction and not treating it any differently. Both these actors really got into the role. They enjoyed it and gave their 100 percent. It’s always nice to work with collaborators who are equally excited about the project.” While reminiscing the fun moments on set, Mehreen said, “The funniest thing was Bilal didn’t know how to ride a bike and majority of his scenes were shot on it, so he struggled a little there. We also had shots of Madiha and Bilal on hill stations where they both were petrified of two things. First, Ferris wheels- they had a panic attack and a nervous breakdown. Second, they were scared of horses. During that scene, every time the horse moved, they screamed! These were two death defining moments that they overcame
