Mawra Hoccane got distinction in Law: Congrats to the talented actress turned advocate!

A social media star cum sensational actress Mawra Hoccane has made her name in young age of 25 by performing in evergreen dramas of Pakistan like Sammi and got debut in Bollywood movie Sanam Teri kasam. Mawra Hoccane surely knows how to stay in news as well as appreciations from her fans.

She added on“ It definitely gives me a sense of achievement because the process of working hard and getting excellent results immediately gives you a lot of validation,”
Simultaneously working for Sammi and Lux style awards she managed to get more than just merely passing the exam. It seems she is also perfectionist in all her grounds.
“I am left with one set of exams and I am aiming for a First class degree so there’s still a lot of studying to go till I can see my career shape up. However, for me, it’s not about the career; it’s more about acquiring the knowledge and achieving excellence in whatever field I step into and I’ll never stop doing that,” she added.
Mawra plans to take up a career in law and she intends to pursue Family Law, which is an extension of Islamic Law, she elaborated.
“Divorce, for example, is too complicated for women to pursue in court in Pakistan,” she said. “The law favours a man. Similar applies to rape or khula scenarios. Our courts demand evidence for maltreatment, which is always very hard to prove. In all manner our laws favour a man. Women are not given alimony and child support and when women ask for a divorce they automatically give up her rights to all kinds of support. This has to be addressed. Yes, I plan to practice and I will announce it soon,” she added.
