Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who is known for highlighting social issues through his films, is planning to make a sequel to his 2008 blockbuster film ‘Fashion’. The director, who is known to portray strong female protagonists, is all set to roll the film in mid 2016.
According to reports, ‘Fashion 2’ will have a fresh subject to tell and will be a love triangle. The director will be finalising a top actress for the sequel.
The 2008 film had Priyanka Chopra essaying the lead role alongwith Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse. The story revolved around a small town girl, who aspires to become a supermodel but soon she has to pay the price for her glamorous life. Priyanka and Kangana had won National Award for their roles in the film.
