L’Oreal accentuating women empowerment via launching “I am worth it” campaign at PFDC 2019!

An awareness raising campaign named “I am worth it” has been initiated by the best beauty brand L’Oreal. Presented by the top model and Spokesperson of the brand, Mehreen Saeed highlighting the women’ issues prevailing in the society such as education, empowerment, dowry and violence on women. Underscoring the challenges faced by women, the brand has collaborated with IFAP and ICare to eliminate all the hurdles and hindrances that effects women empowerment. Started off from 2016, L’Oreal along with Icare and IFAP have stood for the women and launched Beauty for the better life program to strengthen women, train them adequately and to uplift their self-esteem simultaneously assisting them to reintegrate socially through free, top-quality beauty training programs. top the level of utter perfection.

Exuding the significance of women development in Pakistan, L’Oreal PFDC has provided a platform to bring forth the pessimist energies and trials modern women have to put up with. Another edge to the campaign is that, a chic ensemble designed by ace designer “ Sadaf Kanwal” which would be auctioned on official Facebook page of L’Oreal Paris. It had been displayed all three days of Plbw2019 and certainly garnered attention by the attendees.

Here is what Mehreen Saeed said regarding the campaign and women empowerment which was truly applauded by all!

“Since the past three years, my NGO ICare and L’Oréal Paris are working together for underprivileged women,” said Mehreen Syed, as 65 graduates who have received beauty training at ICARE walked out on the ramp and lined up around her. “This journey started from 10 girls in 2016, and today L’Oréal Paris with its partnership with I-Care has enabled 510 women from underprivileged socio-economic background to receive free of cost beauty training, providing employment opportunities and regain their self-esteem through the ‘Beauty for a Better Life’ program,”

L’Oréal Pakistan’s Managing Director, Junaid Murtaza said, “L’Oréal Paris association with the world’s most glamorous fashion scene whether it maybe in Pairs or Pakistan, has been imperative. In the past two years L’Oréal Paris spokespersons Mehreen Syed and Mahira Khan have highlighted “Worth” in the context of promoting self-esteem and independence of women in our society on PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week, platform. This year L’Oréal’s spokespersons represented brand’s ethos of ‘Because you’re Worth It’ at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week, and Paris Fashion week. Indeed, with our partnership with IFAP for the past 3 years, we have worked to elevate and empower women focusing on the lifting of self-esteem, confidence and financial empowerment through free, top-quality beauty training programs.
