This April 2013, Kayseria’s runway showcase at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week’s high street platform is entitled ‘Kayseria Prèt’. With Kayseria Prêt a Porter fashion showcase, the brand debuts its much anticipated Prèt wear. The collection is being launched with three distinct inspirations; from folk art, contemporary evolutions and traditional heritage see across three lines; Rawayat, Virsa and Kontemporary. With each line boasting an individual colour palette, Virsa comes in bright festive shades of Reds, Greens, Blues and Yellows, Kontemporary in practical black, white & grays and riwayat, in royal shades of emerald green, red & ivory white. Kayseria Pet’s design team has used unique cuts and silhouettes with bold, volume sleeves with tapered hemlines for the Virsa line; cubical cuts with slim short sleeves for Kontemporary; and flowing kurtas & princess cut long shirts with traditional churridar & trousers for Rawayat reflecting the subcontinent umbrella flare. With fabrics used such as pure cotton lawn, fine cotton Swiss, pure cotton karandi and pure silk chiffon, Kayseria Prèt comes in over 20 different designs with plans to introduce new designs each week in store and will be available in six sixes, from XS to XXL.
