Hamza Bokhari

Inspired by classic fashion and in vogue fashion trends, the design label Hamza Bokhari is set to showcase its collection titled ‘White Indians’ at the ZONG Promotes Emerging Talent segment of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013. The womenswear collection draws its inspiration from the exotic snowy owls. The collection features numerous digital prints and flawlessly crafted beadwork embellishments, influenced from Native American tribal clothing, with silhouettes inspired by the white owl itself. Outfits cover a diversity of colours, employing dazzling hues and shades of white, green and orange while highlighting beadwork, peplums and detailing. Hamza Bokhari’s interpretation is a collection of fashion garments incorporating exotic materials that include feathers, rabbit fur, organzas and silks celebrating culture while remaining in-line with seasonal trends.

Hamza Bokhari is an up and coming fashion designer who recently graduated from the prestigious Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design in July 2012. Known for his zany attitude and a penchant for amalgamating high fashion with deep-rooted ethnicity, it was but natural for him to be inspired by the kaleidoscope of culture that are the Native American Tribes.
