Good food tour by Food Panda

Last updated:

Food Panda needs no introduction because everybody knows that they are the best ones to fix the hunger emegencies. Their association with so many eateries have made it super easy as well as speedy for everyone to get the desired food at home ( to be honest I dont even feel like going out in the traffic to fetch my cravings!)
Well, Food Panda delivered us this time, to few flavorful stops that are a must to talk about! I Do not intend to be literal here so do not assume me fiting in that pink box.
Food Panda had arrange a tour ( hashtag GoodFoodTour) to take us through the best restraunts of karachi serving uniqueness and great taste of middle east. This trip was packed with a volcano of flavors and we were glad to be a part of it. Who doesnt wants a food tour huh?
Our first destination was Paramount Fine Restruant. This restraunt gave us a very exotic vibe. They served their ultimate best dishes which included Hummus with beef , Hummus with chicken , Fatosh and Lebanese Fide. The Hummus had a very interesting flavor to it and perhaps it was one of the best I had. It was super rich and creamy as it is suppose to be. I was feeling lucky to taste it siting withing karachi at Paramount. The food quality was no doubt very fine and as they promise it was an ultimate experience for us from the time we entered the door till the time we left. I just couldnt wipe off the lasting taste of it from my tastebuds hence salivating for more.

As we move forward, next to talk about is zaatar. Zaatar for me was an authentic lebanese stop with no doubts. They served us with Hummus beiruty, Baba ganoush, Falafal , Jawaneh Kush bara and Lahm Bi’Ajeen. For drinks we had rose and mint lemonade. The names seemed to be very fancy to an average urdu speaker like me. I just couldnt help myself with actually calling them with an arabic accent, its all about the vibe you know, yet I was appealing for information and I am sure you do too. Jawaneh Kusbara were some delicious garlic lemon chicken lollipops. They were perfectly crispy and they dissapeared as soon as they were served. Lahm Bi’Ajeen was a flat bread pizza which definetely fitted this proverb ” the way to a man’s heart is through his Stomach”. Rose lemonade was an exceptional drink and an addition to my must have list.

Thirdly we visited Ala Rasi. Walking in the place I was instantly convinced that it was just “Ala”! In our language though the turkish meaning of it is anything for you .This place was filled with live action food! I was stunned to see Attish dajjaj being presented. It was a dramatic fire play, pretty impressive I say. We were served Mutton shanks that were juicy and tender. Laham khubus pilaf was mutton on a bed of rice which was the star for me. They literally bring it out of flames. Three types if kebabs were served to us which included laham kabab, foot long kababs and turkish kababs. The fire added excitement to our dining experience!

Last but not the least we hit the dessert station that was B & B cafe. We were served with suji halwa with paratha puri, badam kheer and gujjar halwa. It was just simply delicious! As they say All that ends well stays well
