Sadia Khan, a 25 year old fashionista and photographer, recently completed one of her biggest and best projects to date. Born in City of lights Karachi, Pakistan, she first used a camera to document issues related to women in Asian society. She moved to the United Kingdom to further her studies, completing a degree in Business Management, and to indulge in her passion for photography. She has built her career in photography single-handedly, quickly compiling a world wide client base and working at many prestigious events. She has perfected her craft with the use of pioneering digital techniques which has led to her creating an impressive portfolio, filled with stunning images. Sadia can credit her success owing to her humble attitude, strong work ethic, commitment, positivity and creativity.
Sadia Khan has established herself as an accomplished stylist and fashion Photographer in British Asian Society. From 2010 to 2015 she covered many prestigious Political and Fashion events in London including; Pakistan Fashion week, Urban Muslim Women Show, Haute Arabia, University of London Faith and Fashion seminar, Global Peace and Unity Conference, UKIM Charity, McMillan Cancer Research Charity Event, Women Empowerment at the House of Commons, Fashion Parade at Kensington Palace and many, many more. In her early days of photography in London she was able to indulge in styling and fashion and was known as an Asian Muslim Fashionista and Photographer. She has received many accolades including an article which was written about her in 2012 with the subject name ‘East meets West’ which featured in Aquila Fashion Magazine. In addition, as recognition for her continuous support and service to her community, as well as an acknowledgement of her own accomplishments and achievements, Sadia Khan was nominated as best Fashion Photographer of the year (2014) in the Pakistan Fashion Awards.
While working at many prestigious events, photographer Sadia Khan has been able to meet many celebrities from around the world including; Shah Rukh Khan, Kalki Koechlin, David Hayes, Dave Bautista, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, as well as many others.
In March of this year, Sadia Khan was able to complete one of the biggest projects of her life – a photo shoot with Hollywood Superstar Mark Ruffalo. Sadia Khan is the first Pakistani female photographer to work with the Hollywood actor and has established a friendship with him describing him as ‘the most generous, gentle, humble and down to earth human being I have ever met in my life.’ Sadia Khan has built her career through her own hard work and without any contacts, establishing her own connections and friendships within the business. She feels that as a young Pakistani female it has been challenging trying to become involved in Hollywood business, partly because she feels males dominate the industry, but also because she was establishing her own solid connections rather than relying on anyone else. Through her hard work and persistence she has achieved great success. Sadia Khan would like to thank Mark Ruffalo for his continued help, guidance support. The pictures will be used as part of Sadia Khan’s already impressive portfolio – this is just the start of more good things to come for this rising photography star.
