Responded to the youngest Nobel Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai when he was invited to Oxford University recently.
The principal of Oxford University, Alan Rusbridger, delivered message to Khan to pay a visit to Oxford on Twitter and wrote, “Can we tempt you to (visit) Oxford University to talk to our students at Lady Margaret Hall( at the campus)? They love you.”
To which, the 21-year-old, who has started her second academic year at the university, responded, “Still waiting!”
Enormous award winner wrote back to Malala saying, “Most certainly would love to do it. Meeting you will be a privilege.”He then added, “Will put my team to schedule it sooner than soon.”
Also met Priyanka Chopra,the former miss world wrote to Malala, “Oh Malala, no words will be enough. I can’t believe I met you! You’re just a young girl with so much heart and such achievements. So proud.I could write a novel about how smart, incredible, inspiring, encouraging and funny this young woman is,” wrote Priyanka.
“But I will keep it brief. Malala, you are an undeniable force to be reckoned with. The world knows that. You are a role model to all the girls and boys that want to make this world a better place for the future,” she further said.
