Ayushman Khurrana turning cop in his next! Are we going to witness another hit by him?
Ayushmann Khurrana, who rode high on the success of four of his back to back box-office blockbusters including Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho last year, is now on his way to conquer 2019. With two upcoming movies Dream Girl and Bala already in his pocket, Ayusmann on Thursday morning set out for Lucknow to begin the schedule of Anubhav Sinha’s untitled next.
Anubhav Sinha has previously helmed Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor starrer 2018 drama Mulk. The versatile actor, keeping up with his repertory of innovating with each new performance, will now be seen in the role of a cop for the first time. A source close to the Shubh Mangal Savdhan actor said in a statement, “So far, Ayushmann has played a variety of characters set in real-like worlds but with individual personalities and intrinsic problems. In Anubhav’s film, he gets to play the coveted part of a cop. Ayushmann will film for this movie entirely in Lucknow.”
