Ranveer Singh exercised his rights as a dutiful citizen by casting his vote today wherein he was accompanied by his father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani. While Ranveer inevitably had his swag mode on, his father too gave his son a tough competition and it seems like even Arjun Kapoor agrees on this which is pretty obviously his recent comment.
The voting for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 began in Mumbai with full swing today. A lot of celebrities were snapped at different polling booths where they have cast their votes. Many celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and others were clicked at different polling booths in Mumbai. Kareena Kapoor Khan also stepped out to vote along with her son Taimur Ali Khan. Amongst them was also Ranveer Singh who was snapped with his father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani at a polling booth in Mumbai. The father-son duo was standing patiently in the queue as to cast their votes. Ranveer Singh inevitably kept it casual yet stylish with a full sleeved grey T-shirt and pink shorts but his father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani indeed gave a tough competition to his son as he looked chic and stylish as he donned a white formal shirt and khaki pants.
Ranveer Singh soon after posted a selfie of his announcing his vote and captioned the picture as, “VOTE!!!.” But what totally stole the show soon after was his close friend Arjun Kapoor’s comment on the post wherein he was all praises for his dad Jagjit Singh Bhavnani. Arjun wrote under the post saying, “Baba I’m sorry but that good looking stud with u today stole the thunder at voting what a playa !!!’ Well, we totally agree with Arjun Kapoor on this. It seems like the Gully Boy actor has got all the good looks from his dad.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently busy with Kabir Khan’s ’83. The film is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup victory of India. Singh will be portraying former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev’s role in it. The team has already shot in Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamshala area. Their next schedule is in London and they will head for the shoot in may.
