We know that Aamir chooses his projects very carefully – be it film or commercials, and makes his presence felt only through hatke and selected endeavours. Perhaps that’s the reason why when AK asked for a mind boggling price of Rs 88 crore for an endorsement deal, the brand makers agreed to the intelligent actor’s unbelievable demand.
Two to four commercials of Godrej are already out and they look entertaining, quirky and crisp. And we hear there are five-six more to come. Clearly that’s the only brand Aamir has up his sleeves in the category of home appliances, and the think tank of Godrej is now waiting to see how their sales get a boost with Mr Perfectionist exclusive presence.
We don’t know about that but what we know for sure is that this deal is certainly a path-breaking one as far as the money that has exchanged hands in concerned. We are waiting to see if other mighty dudes from the Bollywood khandaan too up their fees or even surpass Aamir’s benchmark! Now, that’s a tough task, wethinks!
