Ranveer Singh teases Simmba dialogue, Rohit Shetty objects to it. Watch video

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who was last seen in Padmaavat, has begun shooting for his next, Simmba. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba also stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan.

In a video shared by Dharma Productions, Ranveer introduces himself in Marathi and says he doesn’t spare anyone who disturbs him. Just as he completes his line, director Rohit barges into the frame and chides him for revealing a dialogue from the movie. Ranveer plays “three star police inspector Sangram Bhalerao” in the movie. Karan Johar then joins in and confirms the release date for Simmba that is December 28. The crew began shooting for the film on Wednesday.

The first look of Simmba has resemblance with Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham which was also directed by Rohit Shetty.

Simmba may also turn out to be Sara’s Bollywood debut, given the troubles that her other film -Kedarnath – is facing. As of now, the release date of Kedarnath is November 30. The shooting schedules, however, are not in place. The film has been facing troubles over producers’ fights. Even the shooting had to be stalled owing to the legal issues.

Earlier, speaking about the troubles surrounding the Bollywood debut of his daughter, Saif Ali Khan had told  “I’ve been keeping track of it and, of course, it bothered me because I wanted things to go smoothly with her. I’m very happy that she now has a good film with Karan Johar. I was quite involved with her getting on board with Karan but after that, I can afford again to take a back seat. I’m here if she needs me.”
